The best place to get the correct answers, and best help is peer support through these forums. What is clear, is that the helpdesk, BTCare twitter folk and these forums all seem to be completely separate. Who did you contact in BT who can't work it out? It would be interesting to find out. It is forum members (and previously newgroup members well before BTMail) that have suggested using the yahoo servers if there were issues - but only if the user is with BTYahoo. Using the wizard causes issues for people on BTMail, for those on BTYahoo it will still work.Ĭan you say where BT are advising using ? They shouldn't be telling people this at all. The problem with the Win10 mail app is that if the user chooses for automatic setup (which would probably be most people) - it uses the wrong mail servers.
